Gigi wrote a book about her ex-boyfriend Teddy and in theory, this is her celebratory dinner party. Instead, the limelight scans those about her, seated to her left sucking on lemons salted with Xanax and/or upstairs tap dancing, full of abandon. Eventually encircling a pregnancy test on the bathroom floor, this unmanageable crowd joins forces when Teddy crashes dessert, twisting yet another plot.

Francesca recently won Best Comedy Screenplay at The Berlin Independent Film Festival and the Semi-Finalist award at The Big Apple Film Festival for her writing of “Two Sisters”. She also appears on screen in FBI on CBStv opposite Missy Peregrym and Zeek Zaki, directed by Carlos Bernard. Along with winning The One festival in NYC for her performance of “My Time” Van Horne has penned, performed, and produced “Tales From The Trundle” a one - woman show which toured in various theaters in NYC, Paris, & London. She performed her sequel to “TFTT”, “STUMBLE”, as part of the prestigious Avignon Theatre festival in France in 2019.
Following rave reviews for her performance in “Dancing Through It" in 2015 that had a successful run at Cherry Lane Theatre Francesca was featured in both currently streaming independent films “Saint Nicholas” and “El Gallo”, on which she was also a producer.
She’s also studied acting technique with her friend, actress and director, Tasha Smith. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri spending much of her formative years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she became bilingual in Spanish and fell firmly in love with the Latin culture. Francesca graduated from University of Miami with a BA, continuing on to study at New York Academy of Dramatic Arts, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Susan Batson Studio. Francesca speaks Spanish, conversational French, and lives with her three kids in Brooklyn.
Francesca is a member of the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG/AFTRA) and Actors' Equity Association (AEA).

Writing
Francesca adapted ‘’Two Sisters’’ from a Colombian play and has recently garnered much interest and accolades winning The Berlin Independent Film Festival for Best Comedy Screenplay 2021, Semi-Finalist at The Big Apple Film Festival, and official selection at both The UK Film Festival and LA Independent Women in Film Awards. This is her first feature screenplay. She performed last month to a sold out Caveat theater in NYC, as part of Generation Women’s Multi-Generational Storytelling evening with her original piece ‘’Director’s Cut’’. Francesca has written and performed ‘’Tales From The Trundle’’ a one woman show, which toured in NYC, Paris, and London. She then penned its sequel ‘’STUMBLE’’ - le faux pas, that premiered in NYC and had a monthlong residency at the prestigious Avignon Theater Festival in France at Le Tache D’Encre.
Producing
Francesca produced the European run of 'Tales From The Trundle' at Le Petit Gymnase in Paris, The Ned Hotel in London, The Courtyard Theatre in London, and The Bridewell Theatre in London. In addition, she produced ‘El Gallo’, both runs of ‘Dancing Through It’ at Cherry Lane and The One Festival, and the 'Dream Sequence' short film. Her upcoming projects include a film adaptation of 'Two Sisters', and the live stage performance ‘Tales From The Trundle’ at United Solo Fest, amongst other collaborations yet to be disclosed. 'St. Nicholas' is being distributed in the US by Summer Hill Films, 'El Gallo' is being distributed by Freestyle Digital Media, both releases in January of 2018.
